WHere is an easy interpretation of a drink from our latest cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's loaded with the flavours of a Christmas time, which makes it excellent for hosting a celebration. Any leftover syrup to use in breakfast cocktails, puddings, or to make more rounds of bikinis.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components into a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the stove and let it to cool down completely. Transfer to a clean bottle, close it and store chilled, it will last for up to four weeks.
To make Premix: Pour every liquid ingredients into one big jug, let it rest for one hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the batch mix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate lightly for a minute to chill. Pour to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries and finish with a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
